On the afternoon of December 12, Mr. Johnathan Chestnut,deputy director of the American citizen services from the U.S. consulate general in Shanghai, visited the Zhongda hospital to express their gratitude for the meticulous care and treatment of an American student.

　　Dr. Teng Gaojun, president of Zhongda hospital, Dr. Xu Keqi, deputy director of the international cooperation department of Southeast University, Ms. Xu Jian, deputy dean of overseas education college, Dr.Yuan Yonggui, director of the department of psychology and psychiatry, Mr. Chen Hui, deputy director of the department of medical services and other officials attended the event.
